Comraich ANS, organisation number 924 690 755, is the controller for the data described here. You can reach us at info@comraich.no.

This website

comraich.no is a static site. The pages are built in advance and simply sent to your browser — there is no server-side code running that could collect anything about you.

Specifically:

  • We set no cookies.
  • We use no analytics, statistics or tracking tools.
  • There are no forms on the site. The contact page is a plain email link.
  • Nothing loads from third parties. The typefaces are the ones already on your machine, and everything else comes from our own domain. Your browser contacts nobody but us while you read these pages.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, acting as our data processor. To deliver the pages and protect against abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information about the request — including IP address, timestamp, which page was fetched and which browser you use. This is necessary for the site to function at all, and we do not use it to build profiles or for marketing.

SSH TunnelBuilder

The app sends us no data at all. It contains no telemetry and no third-party analytics.

  • Your connection profiles are stored in your own private iCloud database at Apple. That is your account, not our server — we have no access to the contents.
  • Passwords and private keys are stored in the Keychain on your own machine.
  • Private-key passphrases are entered per session and never stored.
  • Spotlight indexing is off by default. If you turn it on, only the connection name is indexed — never hosts, usernames, ports or credentials.
  • Mac App Store purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We receive Apple's ordinary sales reporting, which does not identify who bought the app.

Email

If you write to us, we process your email address and whatever you choose to write, in order to reply. Our email runs on Microsoft 365, which is therefore a data processor for that correspondence.

Earwhile

Our podcast app for Android sends us no data either. It has aprivacy policy of its own, covering the services it talks to on your behalf.

kantn.no

kantn.no is in development and not open for sign-ups. It will get its own privacy policy before it opens, since it processes entirely different data from this website and the apps.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or erased. You can ask us to restrict processing, to provide the data in a machine-readable format, and you can object to processing. Contact us at info@comraich.no and we will help.

If you believe we are handling data in breach of the rules, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date below. Substantial changes will also be covered on the blog.
